Handmade Ceramic Candles
The ceramic candles are made to be kept and reused. Each vessel is handmade in my Hexham studio, then filled with 240 g of 100% vegan soy wax, hand blended with pure essential oils and poured in small batches.
The fragrances are inspired by the Northumbrian landscape and its landmarks, designed to feel calm, familiar and quietly luxurious. A wave shaped wooden wick runs through the centre, creating a soft, gentle crackle as it burns and giving an even, steady flame for around 40 hours.
To extend the life of each piece, wax refills are available, along with handmade ceramic matchbox holders designed to sit alongside the candle as part of a considered, lasting set.
Sink into the quiet of Kielder Forest. Each ceramic candle pot is individually thrown in speckled stoneware clay by Laura in Hexham, then finished in one of three soft, contemporary glazes designed to sit gently in any space. Filled with 100% vegan soy wax, hand blended with pure essential oils and poured in small batches, it brings a calm, steady sense of the forest into your home.
A natural wooden S-wave wick gives a gentle crackle as it burns for around 40 hours, carrying a grounding blend of cedarwood, pine, fir needle and a touch of patchouli pure essential oils. The wide form allows for an even melt pool and a steady, balanced scent throw that settles quietly into the room. Once finished, the ceramic vessel is designed to be refilled with a new wax puck, and pairs with a handmade ceramic matchbox holder to complete the ritual. Light it and let the forest close in around you.

Bay
Eucalyptus
Oak Moss
Deep in the heart of England's largest working forest, Kielder stretches across the Northumberland uplands like an ancient, breathing world unto itself over 250 square miles of towering conifers, still reservoirs, and mossy forest floors.
This scent captures that world faithfully. The rich earthiness of oak moss anchors the blend, evoking fallen bark and damp woodland soil after rain, while bay leaf adds a warm, slightly spiced herbal quality the kind you notice when a breeze moves through the undergrowth. A breath of eucalyptus lifts it all, cutting through the density with something cool and clean, like the cold air that hangs between the trees on a grey November morning.
Entirely composed of essential oils, it is a scent of quiet depth and unhurried wildness made for those who find peace in the forest.

Northumberland is home to one of Europe's largest International Dark Sky Parks, and on a clear night, the view from Sycamore Gap is nothing short of extraordinary. The dip in the Wall that once cradled its famous lone sycamore remains one of the most iconic spots in England, a place that has drawn people for generations and continues to do so. Its story is far from over.
On a cloudless night, standing there beneath thousands of stars with the Milky Way spread overhead and a silence that feels ancient, the absence of the tree barely diminishes the magic of the place.
This scent was made for that stillness. Cedarwood forms the meditative, woody heart of the blend, grounding it with a depth that invites calm. Lavender soothes and settles, ylang ylang contributes a gentle, dreamy floral warmth, and lemon verbena cuts through with a clean, citrusy brightness, like cold night air against warm skin. Blended entirely from essential oils, this is a scent for quiet evenings, for switching off, for looking up.

Few sights in England match Bamburgh at dawn, that great volcanic crag rising from the Northumberland coast, the castle silhouetted against a pale gold sky, the North Sea stretching endlessly behind it.
This scent captures the optimism of that moment. Bergamot opens the blend with a sparkling, citrusy brightness, the olfactory equivalent of early sunlight on water. Orange adds warmth and sweetness without heaviness, while lavender brings a gentle, airy softness that keeps the blend from ever feeling sharp or overwrought.
The result is luminous and uplifting a purely essential oil blend that carries none of the synthetic edge of fragrance oils, just a clean, natural radiance that feels like the very best kind of morning.

Hadrian's Wall has stood for nearly two thousand years, winding across the Northumberland landscape from coast to coast, past pele towers, wild meadows and hilltops where you can see clear to Scotland. In spring, the land around it blooms with a vitality that feels almost defiant after a long northern winter. This scent captures that seasonal awakening.
Petitgrain distilled from the leaves and twigs of the bitter orange tree brings a fresh, green, woody brightness to open the blend. Geranium adds a lush, rosy floral note, rich but never cloying, while ylang ylang deepens the bouquet with an exotic, honeyed sweetness.
Together, they create a burst of floral freshness that is complex and natural a reminder that the Wall, for all its history, still sits in living, blooming countryside.
